Infant & Toddler Swimming Programs

As young as 6 months old; infants can be introduced to a structured swimming program with Wild Splash. The key areas of development are safety, water conditioning and basic movement in water.

Usage of a variety of techniques such as songs and games led by the coach. The infants are brought through a variety of exercises to learn the various components necessary to equip the infants with the skills of the program.
We conduct our classes in the following settings:
- Private Pools
- Certified Coaches & Instructors
Parent Assisted to partially assisted for later stages
- Entering and exiting the pool
- Breath holding when submerged
- Holding and movement using the pool ledge
Parent Assisted to partially assisted for later stages
- Full/partial face submergence
- Lying prone with board/noodle
- Kicking with board/noodle
- Arm paddling with noodle
- Kicking with arm paddling with noodle
- Floating on back with board/noodle
Parent Assisted to partially assisted for later stages
- Falling into the water in various positions
- Jumping into water
- Jump into water and turning to pool ledge
- Underwater movement

Progressively we equip young swimmers at this stage to be ready to take on the swimming skills in the Learn-to-swim & Swim Safer programs.
At this stage we begin the process of getting them to become independent of their parent/guardian.

- Entering and exiting the pool

- Full face submergence
- Breathing and bubble blowing for exhalation of breath
- Lying prone with and without board/noodle
- Kicking with and without board/noodle
- Arm paddling with and without noodle
- Kicking with arm paddling with and without noodle
- Floating on back with and without board/noodle
- Streamline movement with face in water
Parent partially assisted to fully independent for later stages
- Underwater diving and recovery of objects
- Breaststroke and Dolphin kicks
- Rolls
